Female Small Kestrel, present along all the American continent. It is characterized by three black vertical stripes on eye, auriculars and nape. Rest of face white, chestnut crown bordered by a silver grey broad band. Chestnut brown body plumage, strongly mottled, white on vent. Sexual dimorphism as in the rest of Kestrels, the male has clean tail, lacking bands, with bluish grey wing coverts. There's also a dark morph, in which sexes are separated more hardly.
