General features Very habitual species in the forestal areas of the Pantanal, generally in the lowest parts of the vegetation, where it forages for invertebrates. Very vocal, the song is very strong. Unmistakable in Pantanal: greyish brown plumage, paler on underparts, white superciliary line, reddish iris, mottled infracaudal region.
