Endemic to Costa Rica and Panama. Recognizable in flight by the bright yellow flight feathers, rufous tail, green rest of the body. Green upperparts with bluish flight feathers and yellow on wing coverts. Yellowish head with white eyering and red broad mark on auriculars.
