Female
As it is habitual in the family, the sexual dimorphism is very strong. The male is completely black, with intense red mantle, nape and upper head. Also, the protuberance of featherns on the forehead is more pronounced. Juveniles resemble females, being completely greenish. Males take 3 years to aquire the stricking plumage of adults.
