Immature
Small Cuckoo, with strong sexual dimorphism. The adult male has clean green upperparts, including the head, with a white mark behind the eye, white throat and rest of underparts, and black iris. The adult female can resemble the male, but generally it presents green only on wings, with the rest of upperparts chestnut brown, the same white mark behind eye and pale iris. This individual starts to show some green on wings, but very dirty. The rest of the plumage is similar to a female's one, but with a duller brown and black iris.
