Adult Abundant and common Hornbill in The Gambia. Completely black upperparts and tail, salving the white outer rectrices, often not visible. White underparts salving the black throat and breast. Yellowish pale bill, with black on the tip and little marked casque, lacking in immatures. No significative sexual dimorphism. Only mistakable in The Gambia and Senegal with Ceratogymna fistulator, much scarce, with very different bill and abundant white on tail.
