Male
Greenish brown upperparts, strongly streaked, with yellow rump. Dark wings with two yellowish narrow bands. Yellow head with brownish auricular region and crown. Yellow throat and breast, with white and very streaked rest of underparts. The female is very similar, but with less extension and intensity of yellow, sometimes difficult to separate. The individual sings twice in the sequence.
