Adult Endemic to Costa Rica and Panama. Grey upperparts, yellow underparts. Red center of crown, bordered of black. Yellow face and narrow grey collar. Black tail with abundant white on the outermost rectrices. Juveniles have entirely grey head, lacking red on crown and yellow on face.
