General features It belongs to the group of Flycatchers with yellow underparts and brown upperparts pattern. Very similar to M. granadensis (which differs in grey head and little marked supercilium) and Conopias albovittatus (which doesn't occur in the suoth of the country and has the superciliary lines joining on nape).
