Female
Endemic to Costa Rica and Panamá. Listed as Vulnerable and with a decreasing population. Female is very spotted, brown on upperparts and paler on underparts. Almost identical to female C. amabilis, but the ranges don't overlap. The male is very different, very intense turquoise blue with two broad purple areas on throat and abdomen.
