Male The brown body plumage shows two tones, it is more greenish on mantle, contrasting with the chestnut on wings and underparts. Yellow head and throat contrast with the red moustache in the malar region (lacking in females). Brown lores in both sexes. Yellow plumage of the tibia and rump. Blueish grey bill, legs and orbital ring.
