Adult Black, with very long central rectrices, which reach the same length of the bird in the males, being a bit shorter in females. White cap from below the eye and covering the whole crown. Mantle also white. Sexes alike, females only differ by slightly shorter rectrices and dirtier white on crown and mantle. Rectrices of juveniles barely emerge from the rest of the tail.
