Very large icterid. Black head and underparts, chestnut wings and back. Yellow tail with black central pair. Very conspicuous bare skin areas on face, blue on cheeks and pink on forehead and malar region. Bicolored bill, black on the base and red on the distal mid. Males larger than females.
