Feeding
It feeds on invertebrates, generally of a small size. The sequence shows how this grasshopper can be too large.
It calls our attention the very marked superciliary line of this individual, being able to be a juvenile, which present a thin white line bahind the eye, or an adult of race albovittatus, occurring in Bolivia and adjacent parts of Brazil, which has a conspicuous white supercilium.
