General features Very small, chubby built and small tailed. Enterely brown, strongly streaked on upperparts. Characteristic undulating flight in which it gives a short call on each rise. No similar species in the Iberian Peninsula, it could resemble some Acrocephalus Warblers, but the morphology and behaviour must be enough to separate them. No significant sexual dimorphism.
