Adult
There's no sexual dimorphism. Black upperparts with white rump. White flanks barred of black, red central part of breast and vent. Yellow eye and eyering. Red center of crown. There are two morphs: the one shown here, with a white and yellow stripe from the eye to the nape, and a second one without this stripe.
