Song The males give series of combined calls from the top of a clear tree, opening the bill extremaly and showing the wattles hanging from it. The most characteristic note, which gives it it's name, is a bell-like, very strong and metallic, which can be heard in long distances. It also gives a very acute pip-like note and a nasal croak. It comines the three sounds and performs demonstrative short flights, returning to the same perch. * The sonogram doesn't represent the complete recording.
