Breeding plumage Greyish brown upperparts, with a broad white collar which closes on nape. White forehead contoured above with a wide black stripe that joins the eyes. Black broad mask and white superciliary line. Black breastband which continues in a narrow stripe around the neck. White underparts. Orange legs. Bill with orange base and black tip.
