The unique Pigeon with yellow bill in Costa Rica. Grey plumage with violet tinges. Green nape, brighter with good light and with a white superior stripe. Reddish iris and eyering, yellow legs. Females have duller green on nape and less purplish tones on body. Juveniles lack the green and the white stripe on nape.
