Adult
Medium-sized Motmot, with shorter tail than the habitual in the family, but with very long ornamental rectrices. Broad, bright blue superciliary line, reddish back, blue flight feathers and green wing coverts. Greenish underparts on breast, more chestnut on vent and with a wide black area contoured of blue below the throat.
