Distribution: All the Regions salving Antarctica. They tend to be sedentary, although there are migratory species.

Habitat: Very varied. Forests, open areas, some species in cities.

Feeding: Fruits, seeds and leaves.

Breeding: Generally, an open cup of vegetal material placed in a tree. 1-2 eggs. Incubation 13-18 days. Nestling period longer than a month.
